I’m a lens-based artist based in Toronto, Canada using analog cameras inherited from my father. My practice is grounded in documentary photography and explores the confluence of place and time. With a gardener’s view of a wild space, I tell stories through small details in landscapes observed.
City Block documents a decade in the life of my urban neighbourhood Little Portugal as gentrification morphed this ethnic community into a destination hot spot. Images from this series formed an outdoor mural collage entitled Liminal Space at the neighbourhood’s Alleyway Gallery in 2025.
Common Ground, inspired by the hardships of my French-Canadian ancestors who travelled from Quebec to Ontario in the mid-1800s, helped me embrace the uncertainty of the unknown places from my silent past. Images from this ongoing series were featured in Issue 46 of the Montréal-based, online magazine Carte Blanche.
Alexander Park, my self-published photobook from 2021, captures the demolition and rebuild of a Toronto community housing project.
My work has been part of group shows in both Toronto and Halifax, Nova Scotia. Texture at The Glasgow Gallery of Photography in April 2026 is my first group show outside of Canada.
